Vehicle Detail

CB160 Honda 1969 No Reserve !! I really don't know much about the Honda I just bought this bike a few months ago and was going to restore it but now my Girl Friend is going to have a Baby and my plans have changed completely. I'm so sad to see it go it is a great bike the last year Honda made the CB160 it has a 360 degree crankshaft with roller bears you only fined those in very expensive motors. I personally don't know anything about this bike I've not put a battery in it to see anything work, it does have good compression and moves around good the wheels are straight and the rims have no rust, the speedometer is supposed to work fine but the mileage numbers aren't lined up perfectly I'm not sure why. The old owner said it ran fine and everything worked but the horn is missing and that the gas tank had rust in it and he was right the gas tank has rust in it, plus he said the fuel pet cock needed to be rebuilt, so all I've done for the bike is I bought a Super nice Gas Tank for $400.00 that has been bead blasted on the outside nothing on the inside and is included in the sale, I'll insure and ship it separately at my expense, The paint isn't bad but not concourse, the tires look ok, the mufflers I think are really nice have no rust and look like someone may of replaced them some where a long the way, the bike doesn't look like it has ever been crashed, it has a super cool side stand that I don't think the Honda CB160 came with ? It seems to be all their, except for the counter shaft sprocket cover it had a small crack in it and I took it off and through it away because I was going to replace it, I wish I had not thrown it away that was stupid but you can buy one on ebay for as little as $12.00. It has a low frame number 1070059 that means it was the 0059 bike made the last year of production probably the first day. I wish I knew more about it because I have not done anything myself with it and now I've got to sell it for what ever I can get. I do have the old owners name and phone number and I'm sure he and I know I will answer any questions I can. I have $1,960.00 total in it, this would a great bike to restore last year built by Honda with a super low production number, but I have to say good-by. Daddy
