I am selling my custom 1953 Plymouth Lead Sled / Hot Rod. This car was custom built from front to back by a HotRod Shop. It is fast and loud and turns heads everywhere I go. The body was professionally chopped and channeled with a full custom floor, firewall pushed back, headlights & taillights frenched, doorhandles shaved, etc... The paint is a satin orange metallic and there is no rust anywhere since just about every piece of metal is new. It is sitting on a boxed and Z'ed S10 frame with a 4 link in the rear and Air Bags on all 4 corners. It has 2 polished compressors, a 5 gallon reservoir, 1/2 inch air lines and valves, a handheld controller for the Air Suspension that does each wheel individually, each side individually, or all four corners at once. Air lines and valves are run through the frame so no worries of a line snagging something and breaking loose. It lays frame, perfectly flat on the ground and looks amazing. It is powered by a freshly built Chevy 383 stroker motor with around 3,000 miles and backed by a TH350 transmission with a Lokar Shifter. Custom side pipe exhaust made by hand, tubular control arms, driveshaft, power disc brakes and dual batteries. The interior has power bucket seats wrapped in vintage tuck & roll upholstery, the original dash is in place, and a tall LOKAR shifter on the floor. As it sits now the car is turn-key, running, driving, and stopping perfectly, but needs a few details to be 100% complete. The windshield comes with the car (it needs to be trimmed about an inch more and can be put in). The door glass comes with the car (ready to be dropped in). Comes with brand new door poppers, 2 different grills (the one in the picture is zip tied into place, front & rear bumpers with brackets, all interior and exterior window trim & moldings, and a bunch of miscellaneous extra parts. There is a ding on the edge of the hood and also below the headlight to the right of the grill. Nothing major but it is there. Overall, a great looking car and chances are you wont find another Plymouth like it. There a Mercury's that look similar but this is less than half of the price!
