Hi, I am selling my 1974 Corvette that is a true Southern California rust free survivor and about 95% original. The car has no rust and the fiberglass is in great shape. I am the second owner. This car drives and handles amazingly and mechanically and electrically is a 9.5 out of 10. It is turn key and 100% reliable. There are shinier ones out there but this car has been cared for, not monkeyed with and anyone who knows corvettes knows that is worth a lot and this is a TON of car for what I am asking for it. It is an original 350 motor, 4 speed transmission, NON POWER STEERING (Thank God) and Air Conditioning car (needs a compressor but all the vacuum lines and balance of the system tested good) that runs and drives amazing. It has and aftermarket Edelbrock intake manifold (circa late 80's) but original Q jet carb, distributor, smog equipment, etc. The paint is original metallic brown and in much better condition than you would expect after 40 years. It has nicks and chips and wear spots in the paint but again the paint is very good. More important the fiberglass is in great shape with no cracking or delamination. The bumper cover on the front is missing. I have personally gone through this car with a fine tooth comb and everything works and is original (except AC compressor) What I have done in the last 750 miles New Tires 235/60/15 radials New brake rotors New brake pads Two new calipers Evacuated and replaced all brake fluid New Gel Battery Went through the entire electrical system to make sure all was sound and remove circa 1986 speaker wires Rebuilt original mechanical clock (not quartz retrofit) Rebuild original alternator Rebuilt original distributor and changed main shaft and tachometer gear drive (yes tach works like all other gauges) Complete transmission, differential , engine, brake and cooling system service New carpet New dash New door, pillar post, back post seals New headlight switch New OEM shifter Headlights works as should, Vacuum lines are all working for AC All lights, gauges, etc work. Car is rock solid and a pleasure to drive and drives much better than my 1967 RS SS Camaro but since I have had that since high school I cannot sell it.
