This is a 1951 Chevrolet 3100 shorted pickup. The cab is in average condition for this vintage with rust-through in the usual places, cab corners and floor board. The top has been chopped two and a half inches and really gives the truck a custom look. The doors are very solid, no rust, and do not have wing windows. Installing power windows would be a breeze. The bed is average but I would replace it with new if I were going to finish the build. The front fenders and hood are solid and the rear fenders are average. Running boards are solid and fairly straight. The motor is a 2005 GM 5.3L fuel injected Vortec truck motor with 60,000 miles and has new Sanderson block hugger headers. It has a GM 4L60-E transmission (core only) It has a Ford 9” rear-end with disc brakes with new rotors and calipers. It has four-link rear suspension with Alden coil over shocks. Front suspension is all Mustang II with 11” rotors, tubular control arms and power rack & pinion steering. It sits on new chrome rally wheels, 15” X 7” in the front and 15” X 8” in the back. Tires are Cooper P225/75R15’s on the front and P25570R15’s on the rear. This truck will make a great street rod or daily driver and deserves to be finished.
