Up for sale is my 1984 Honda V65 Sabre. I purchased this bike from a party in Oakland, Ca. about 3 years ago and replaced numerous parts to bring it up to excellent condition. I do not ride motorcycles much anymore as age and health issues prevent me from doing so. I enjoy rebuilding them as a hobby. Now to the bike. It is VERY fast and powerful and absolutely NOT for a beginning rider. It held the speed record for fastest production bike in the world in '84. 30 years later and it still can outrun 90% of all the bikes on the road. I replaced the head gaskets and valve stem seals and de-carboned the heads. One head bolt hole required a heli-coil insert. Replaced the rocker arms,shafts, camshafts and cam covers. OEM-NOS Honda parts used. Weight is over 600 Lbs. Six speed transmission with shaft drive, shifts up and down flawlessly. Dual disc front brakes w/single disc in rear. Trax anti-dive front fork system and mono shock rear suspension (both completely rebuilt.) Also added a Superbrace for the forks. Everything on the bike works as it should including the auto cancel turn signals. I added a Corbin seat(which has a seam separation about 2 1/2 inches long, see pic). Original seat in great shape is included for taller riders. Dave Dodge oil modification installed. The Dunlop D404F tires are new with only 200 miles on them. New AGM battery. Oops, forgot, this is a very tall bike with a stock seat height of 34 inches, not suitable for shorter riders like myself so I lowered the F&R by 2 1/2 inches. With the Corbin seat you have a comfortable seat height for 5' 7" riders and up without tiptoeing. Any questions, please contact me thru Ebay. Thanks for looking and good luck!
