Hello ebay..up for sale is my 1956 Chevy Bel Air 4 door sedan at NO RESERVE !!..let me start out by saying there is NO MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION..(used to be 235 with 3 on the tree)..This car is SUPER SOLID..I pulled the 235 motor out to put in a small block BUT now I am selling to finance my other project..This car has a very decent "driver quality" paint job (you wouldn't even really need to paint it if you didn't want to).paint is nice and shiney..practically rust free body...It had NEW quarter panels put on before paint by previous owner.(there is one almost not noticable small dent on passenger side quarter panel..can be popped out)...Super solid..doors,hood,and trunk all close nicely..there may be a patch or 2 that was done to the floor but done nicely..Floors very solid too..rocker panels also very solid..everything is there..all trim is great shape..all glass is very good..Trunk DOES NEED A LITTLE WORK (see pics)..trunk floor is solid BUT around the edges theres a little separation and where my fingers are pointing in the trunk pics ,there is some rust holes all the way through (not super bad though)..bumpers are driver quality chrome...frame is very good...grills nice..it has Luxor 15 inch wire wheels with very good tires on them..Rims have light rust that will most likely come off with the Mothers Wire Wheel Cleaner..rims and tires DO come with the car!! It also has a new gas tank with built in drain plug..brakes were redone by previous owner (stopped great before i pulled the motor)..Now the interior : dashboard is in great condition..carpet is in good condition as well as the Bel Air floor mats..(interior does smell "musty" like when old cars sit)..door panels are there but NOT in very good shape..seats are worn looking with a few rips in the fabric part of them,vinyl part has some stains..back dash is just black carpet..steering wheel is in good shape..all knobs look to be there on dashboard..headliner has stains and mice got in my garage and chewed holes in the headliner under where the sun visors are (see pics)..engine compartment was sandblasted and some of it was repainted black but needs to be finished!..i have a set of "peep mirrors" but they're not very shiny!..also,they are not in the pics,but i DO have the radiator support,drive shaft and battery box..also original radiator (its not pretty but it didn't leak)..ALSO,what i am throwing in to help you is a BRAND NEW IN THE BOX V8 swap kit..(consists of new motor mounts for a small block Chevy V8 with V8 motor brackets and transmission cross member with trans mount)..I wouldn't call it a parts car cuz it's in such good shape but you could use it for parts if you wanted to..or rat rod it..basically,put in a drive train and a little work and you're good to go.as you can see in the pics,it shows very nicely...this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!...BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING..AS IS..NO WARRANTY...SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY DUE TO YEAR...i will help with anything the best i can and if you have any questions please feel free to message me..THANK YOU and GOOD LUCK !!!
