1990 Porsche Carrera 4 Miles: 137,000 Exterior:The finish on this 911 is above average for the age and mileage, all of the finish on this 911 looks to be the original factory . Paint flaws include a few chips/nicks on the front and other expected areas like the front of the rear wheel bulges, two small dents on the hood that are not very noticeable, on the passanger side door their is a light scuff mark that is NOT into the metal, and that is mainly it. Due to the paint being original there is a lack of common repaint flaws like drips, fish eyes, cracking, paint over moldings, overspray, etc. The paint truly is very nice for the age. It shows very well but again is not perfect. It could use a light buffing with compound and polish as well which would even bring it up a bit! The body is very straight and again very well taken care of. There is a lack of significant dings. Body of course is very solid as well. Door jambs, under body, trunk floor, all corners, engine bay, and etc. all are very straight, solid, and look real nice. Lenses overall are good but the back tail light section is somewhat faded. Rear spoiler works correctly. Doors, trunk , engine cover all open and close real nice/properly, Gas struts for the trunk and engine cover are of course weak. Tool kit and etc. are present. Side skirts are good but the weather stripping could be replaced as they have shrunk. All in all though, very presentable Carrera. Interior:The interior on this 911 is in overall nice condition and shows minor wear in typical areas. Most notable wear would be the leather seats show use. Steering wheel is good, shift knob shows wear, door panels very nice, An upgraded Aspen radio is present with upgraded speakers. Interior is of course very comfortable. No odd smells. Mechanical:This 911 has been taken very well care of cosmetically and mechanically their are no leaks with this car! Conclusion:These 964 911’s are a blast to drive. The engine sounds amazing and is a huge improvement from the SC and 80’s Carrera. The extra torque and horsepower give it a super usable and fun powerband. The handling and braking performance is excellent as well, very large improvement from the SC. I am not sure if it is the tires on this example but it easily out handles and out brakes the 930 and has a much more useable powerband. Serious buyers are welcome to contact me with any questions.
