Hello and thanks for stopping to check out our 1960 Ford Thunderbird! The car has the following options: 45,757 ACTUAL MILES!! V-8 Engine/Automatic Transmission Power Steering and Brakes Power Windows Working AM Radio Power Driver’s Seat This beautiful, rare Thunderbird is in much nicer shape than you’d expect for a car that’s 54 years old! What we’ve been told is that this car originated from the Desilu studio (Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball owned it). It was used back in the early 60’s in some movies and just around the studio grounds. That was three owners ago. The person we bought it from, who owned it for 15 years, had bought it from the gentleman who bought it from the studio. This car was always garaged. The 45K miles are actual and the title is clean. Technically, this car was driven less than 1K per year! Even though most of the miles were probably put on in the 60’s. If you’re the lucky winner of this car, you can turn the key and drive it home. It has newer tires, too. Anybody interested in bidding would be doing themselves a favor by coming out and seeing it, touching it, and driving it before bidding. It starts easily. The exhaust is quiet and sounds great. The power steering and brakes work without a problem. The tube radio still works like it did when it was new. All four power windows are working, too. The driver’s power seat is also functional. The engine and engine compartment are clean, as you can see in the pictures. The trunk is in excellent condition, too. Underneath, it’s clean and solid. It’s a California car, never driven in the salt. The front window glass is perfect. There is a 5” small crack in the passenger window, but it isn’t noticeable, and doesn’t necessarily need to be replaced. All the lights seem to be working properly. The heat blows hot as the Nevada desert. Not only are the brakes on the car in good shape, but it also comes with a spare set of brakes for front and back. There are also a bunch of other miscellaneous parts in a box that come with it. If you’re serious about buying a true classic car that may be something that you hold on to for many years to come and possibly may pass down to a family member at some point in time, this is a true, clean, classic piece of Americana that really needs to belong to someone who will take care of it and maintain it properly. The car must be paid for within 48 hours after the end of the auction in cash or by wire transfer!! This is an as-is vehicle, which means that once you buy it, you own it with all faults (known or unknown). This is a no-reserve auction, which means that the last highest bidder when the auction is over will win the car. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle. If you need a 30-day tag, it’s $18.50. We handle the transfer of the title.
