Approximately 200 miles on the engine rebuild (and the restoration; even less on interior) Mild performance camshaft, Edelbrock 600 CFM Carburetor, Edelbrock Performer Intake manifold, new Chevy alternator, new high perf starter, new 925 Odyssey battery, new water pump, new distributor, Chassis Engineering motor mounts. Additional auxiliary fan (plus mechanical fan). Currently running synthetic oil in engine. New four core radiator FOUR SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 700 R4 auto, (no computer) shifts smooth as silk. Lokar trans floor shifter with boot. Custom crossmember fabricated by a 30 year metal man. PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION Fat man Fabrications performance Mustang II front end. Suspension has 2" drop spindles. Mustang II power steering rack. Power steering is very responsive. KYB shocks. Freshly aligned. Rear suspension is 4 link teardrop custom with coilovers. All suspension work done by a professional FOUR WHEEL DISK BRAKES Four wheel disk with cross drilled slotted rotors. Custom mounted power assist master cylinder with booster. All new system including brake lines. Lokar ebrake setup. Ten bolt Chevy rearend. Flies on the highway, good gearing. New driveshaft from Driveline Specialties Factory wheels have been sandblasted and painted black. Candy Store white wall tires. New chrome hub caps with red bow tie motif New chrome trim rings Completely new wire harness kit. Converted to 12 volt by EZ wiring. STUNNING NEW BLACK PAINT Mirror straight black body. Clear coated black with subtle and classy custom blue pearl that shimmers on highlighted edges. Countless hours went into the body, block sanding and priming each panel over and over until the painter (25 years) was satisfied with the look and feel. There is well over 10,000.00 in paint and body work on this vehicle, including the underside. Quality materials were used throughout the paint process. Bear claw door latches with remote. The body was completely disassembled for paint. All panels were primed and painted separately from the car. All new weatherstrip around doors and glass. All glass was removed for paint including the door glass. All new glass on vehicle. SUPER CLEAN NEW INTERIOR Fully new interior done in black and grey leatherette. New headliner, new black carpet, new door panels, new rear interior panels, new package tray shelf upholstery, new armrest upholstery. Trunk trim is lined with all new material and panels. New triple plated chrome on grille, bumpers, and misc trim. Polished stainless side trim New LED tail light lenses. Fully new exhaust with Magnaflow Mufflers. Headers with custom angled ('baloney cut') rear exit pipes. New extra capacity fuel tank. Power window upgrade Pioneer AM/FM CD player with remote. 6x9 speakers in doors and in rear package tray shelf. In my opinion, this car drives far better than any classic 50s car I have driven. The performance upgrades made it stop faster and handle better than anything of this vintage I have had the pleasure to drive. While cruising this car at freeway speed and on side streets, I was very impressed with the strong engine pull, and lack of body lean while cornering. It felt a little bit like a slot car to me!
