1955 Mercury Monterey 2dr This car just arrived from Arizona and has been stored inside since it was cleaned up. It appears to be a two tone hard top with white roof and red body. (I haven’t been able to open up the driver’s door yet to look at the data plate.) Somewhere along the way an early FE 352 was installed it was stored without spark plugs being installed so it is stuck-it might free up but then again maybe not. This would be a great rat rod or a resto rod. Look at the dash it has pin stripping from the day and vintage race stickers. Here are a list of the know issues. · Interior is sun burnt · Engine stuck · Small area of rust drivers side rocker panel · Passenger rear quarter has a little rust at the very bottom edge · Top of passenger side quarter panel has a dent · Passengers side quarter panel has a dent behind the door opening · Passenger side quarter panel trim spear is missing · Drivers side-side window is out · Needs flat glass replaced · I have a few miscellaneous pieces in a box/hood latch/trunk latch as well as the two extra correct rims.
