It cranks right up on first try. Has a real mean sound with the dual flowmaster exhaust. The engine sounds very good, no smoking, knocking or weird sounds coming from the engine when reved up or idling. Has a very nice steady idle. The engine bay area is very clean and no oil is leaking from the engine or transmission. The car is also equipped with a new interstate battery. Also has an MSD Distributor and MSD cables. There is also a holly carb and chrome air cleaner which was added not too long ago. Factory features include power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes and factory AC but the compressor is not present. All of the accessories on the engine are present and all are in working order. There is also a chrome custom radiator cover and brackets in the engine bay. The AC evaporator housing does have a peice missing. Chrome oil dipstick present. Very clean engine. Transmission shifts just fine in to all gears including reverse. No leaks slips or weird sounds. Body and Paint: This vehicle still has the original factory bright yellow from 1979 and all of the Z28 badging!!! A true survivor. The color code on the cowl tag matches the color from 1979. No accidents. Door gaps are excellent. Doors open and close excellent. exterior door handles are present and all mirrors are also present. Keys for both doors. Doors do not leak. Doors seals are in great shape. All original logos badging are in excellent shape. Front Z28 Spoiler, rear air spoiler. Body is in excellent condition. Alsmost no rust except for a tiny bit of rust around t tops and roof area as can be seen. None in the undercarriager. Trunk is in great shape. Gas cap and gas lid are present and in working order. Trunk opens and closes as it should. Original spare tire and jack are present. Hood is a tiny bit raised may need some adjustment. Both t tops are present and in excellent woring order. none are chipped cracked, They come on and off with no problem, no leaks. Electrical: The electrical system is in almost perfect condition. The front lights, parking lights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights all work. The wipers turn on just fine and the horn beeps as it should. The gas gauge, alternator gauge all work. The RPM and Spedometer do not work. The car is equipped with an after market oil pressure and temperature gauge which both work. Also has after market RPM gauge which does not work either. The car also has an original 1980's radio but it does not turn on. The car still has the original cigarette lighter which also works. Dome light cap is missing but works Brakes and suspension: Front disc brakes. no play on steering wheel. Brakes are in perfect working order car is eqquipped with power brakes from the factory. The brakes work very well. The suspension is very tight. When going over bumps there are no rattles or metal noises. The steering has not play. The car is equipped with four chrome custom rims and four brand new Hankook tires. The All in all the car feels very tight and not much wear on the suspension. The bushings are in good shape as can be seen from the pictures. Frame and under carriage: There is no rust present on the frame. All of the bolts, bushings, connections and ties seem to be very original and in good shape under the car. The motor mounts are in good shape and the engine does not lift up when revving the car motor. The underside is very clean, no rust on the floor pans. The exhaust system is also in excellent shape with the dual flowmasters. Glass: All of the Windows and on the car are in excellent shape. The windshield does not have any cracks. None of the windows have any chips. Interior: The interior is a nice black leather which is in good shape except for the two front seats which do have some tears and wear as can be seen in the pictures. The rear seats are in excellent condition. The dashboard is in decent shape except for a few cracks as can be seen in the pics and video. The interior is complete and very original. everything is present including all of the original seatbelts which all work. All of the dashboard accessories and trims. Center console is in very good shape except for the center glove which one of the hinges is off. The glove compartment opens and closes as it should. The carpet is ok ecept for some faded areas and a bit of torn carpet here and there. The door panels are in great shape and are not missing anything, the door handle, arem rest, locks, mirror adjustment knob and window crank are all present and in prefect working order. The interior lights all work. The rear speaker compartment is a bid deteriorated which is made of some type of wood. Prob just a few bucks to replace. No knobs are buttons are missing from any of the dash controls. Everything is present and in working order. All in all a very original interior. Two chevy seat covers are included. Driving and Handling: When you enter the car, it feels good. The door shuts with ease. You slide the key right in, give the accelerator two stomps and the car starts right up. Once the engine is warmed up you slide the shifter with ease into drive and put the petal to the metal. Drive, and reverse all go into play with no issue as well as the other gears. The car handles very well. Lots of power! Shipping:I am more than happy to help the buyer make shipping arrangements.
