This is a relisted auction. The reserve has been dropped to less than the bidding of the first auction. I want to sell the car! I have clear title, in hand, car is in my garage, ready to go. It runs and drives with no known problems. I can assist with any transport company the buyer chooses. This auction is for a 1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo. This is a true BARN / GARAGE FIND car that I purchased from the previous owner after he had stored the car in a garage since 2001. It is in remarkable, FULLY ORIGINAL condition and has never had any modifications, it is dead stock. This is going to be a longer eBay listing than normal, because there is a lot to say and show about this car. I have taken a lot of time to prepare this auction and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have very high resolution copies of the below pictures available. This is a fully loaded car in the most desirable Super Red with Black interior. The vehicle was listed for sale near my home and I took a look. When I saw it, it had not even been started since 2001. The engine turned freely, but the condition of the rest of the car was unknown. I purchased the vehicle with 61080 miles on it. When I picked up the car, it was in the middle of a snow storm and a flatbed wasn't available, so it was towed 6 miles to my home. The odometer now reads 61086, half way to changing to 61087. This MR2 has not been driven on the road since 2001, you can look at the AutoCheck and see that it has not been registered since 2000. Everything about the car is as you would find it in the late 1990s, even down to the Dunlop Sport 8000 tires that were installed in 1999! Vehicle was Ziebart-rustproofed when new, that probably helped to maintain its outstanding condition. The car is COMPLETELY RUST-FREE. Early '90s Toyotas are legendary for their longevity and reliability and this car proves why. When I got the car back to my house, I put a new battery in it and, after the fuel system filled back up, it started and idled right away. I then shut it off, put in almost 9 gallons of fresh 93 octane fuel and changed the oil. I jumpered the fuel pump and let it run for a few minutes to get the fresh gas circulated in the motor and, again, it fired right up. The motor sounds and runs absolutely perfectly. I have moved the car back and forth in the driveway between garage bays and from what I can tell, everything is operating exactly as it should. The clutch feels like new, the brakes are all working properly, the transmission shifts freely between gears, the shocks have a proper rebound when you push down and release, etc. In addition, EVERYTHING in the car works, even the POWER ANTENNA (which are known to never work)! The parking brake cables on these are prone to seizing up. The parking brake on this car is fully functional with no issue. It engages and releases as it should. I have found nothing on the car that doesn't operate properly.Every button, every switch, every knob operates as it should and all electrical/mechanical systems work as they should. With that, this car is the PERFECT candidate for a collection, or to get a tune up/fresh fluids/etc. and have a fantastic and rare car to use for enjoyment. The car has 100% ORIGINAL PAINT, the VIN stickers are all in the places they should be, it is truly a stunning original car. That said, it is not perfect. There are a few dings that could be removed with paintless dent removal (nothing that would show up in pictures), there are a few small stains and chips in the paint -- and I have not touched up anything. Other than polishing, I haven't touched the paint. There is also a 15" scratch on the passenger door that was touched up long ago, I attempted to get a picture of that, you can see it below. It is hard to see, but it's there. The only other item of note is the two ends caps for the rear wing -- they have original paint, but they have bumps on the surface. It's something that happened with these and many were repainted early on, but this one has not been repainted. I have taken a lot of pictures to document/describe the car as fully as I can.
