Brakes, shocks, steering, speedo, tach, horn, coils, lights, shifting, wiring, all in very good condition and working. This motorcycle was my saved collector bike, I bought it new in '76 in Munich Germany on the BMW Europe Tour {US Model}. Used occassionally and kept in a plastic motorcycle storage bag for years, on the center stand, until the sandy storm when flood water entered the bag up to almost the top of the carbs. When the storm water subsided the bike was washed off well, and cleaned. Almost 1 1/2 cup of water drained from the bottom of the oil pan, about 2 oz drained from the bottom of the tranny, none found in the rear drive. Fresh oil was added to the engine, tranny, & rear drive. Marvel mystery oil was added into the cylinders thru the spark plug holes. All metal was waxed. I was told to remove the valve covers and found no residue of water only oil present. I did not try to turn of the engine as the head & cylinders should be removed first and cleaned up, as water must have come in thru the carbs or exhaust into the cylinder depending on what valves were open at the time of the flood. The carbs are frozen, points, probably alternator, would need repairing or replaced. The alternator diode pack & starter should be good as they are above the water height. The R/S muffler has a crack on the seam, the engine guards & handlebar need to be rechromed. The bike really looks nice as you can see by the pictures, and all this is to the best of my knowledge and sold as is. Clear florida title. Come on over and take a look at it, you"ll be happy especially if you can do the work necessary to have it run again as good as it looks! Ask any questions, i'll try to answer. I reserve the right to sell it to the hightest bidder even if it does not meet the low reserve value! Thanks for looking. Gary
