I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK BRAND NEW AND DROVE IT EVERYWHERE. IT ALWAYS HAS & STILL DOES RUN WELL. NOW WITH 188,000 MILES IT NEEDS OTHER MECHANICAL WORK TO BE DRIVEN SAFELY. I still use my truck for local runs. It is registered . GOOD POINTS: Strong runner (oil changed every 3,000 miles). 4 wheel drive works well. Extra set of 4 very nice tires go with truck. Bed liner and factory bed cover. All gauges and electric windows work. Fiberglass ram air hood. Genuine Ford Lightning nose with driving lights. NEEDS REPAIR: Auto trans 3rd gear does not work 1st & 2nd do work,you can drive it but you can't use 3rd. Rear axle makes a whining noise at speed. Lower ball joints MUST be replaced, they are shot. Windshield is cracked. Sun Roof closed 24/7. Exhaust is getting old. I bought a brand new A/C condenser that needs to be installed. Body: Rot in both rocker panels (as many do) and rear corners of cab. Dents in tailgate and bottom of right rear door and low, behind right front wheel. Fiberglass bed has minor damage by L/H tailight. Paint on hood is poor. But, this truck still looks good! GREAT TRUCK FOR THOSE WHO CAN WRENCH. VERY LOW RESERVE . CALL Joe 631 751 7265
