THIS CAR IS LOCATED IN REDDING CA> ABOUT 150 MILES NORTH OF SACRAMENTO. Drive it home! Up for auction is a very rare 1958 Plymouth Sport Suburban 6 pass. wagon. Very few of these have survived. This one being an excellent driver with patina.Original paint. Nicely optioned with 318 Power Pak, Torquflite, power steering, power brakes, 3:31 Sure Grip rear axle, bumper wings, back up lights, radio, heater, tinted glass, power tailgate window and clock. One thing this car has and I have never seen on one of these Plymouths is the steering wheel is slightly oval shaped. All others I have seen are round. Rare option? Everything works... I mean everything. The clock, back up lights dome light, heater, defroster, wipers, gas gauge (and it's accurate) temp gauge, power back window, radio just serviced and new speaker installed. In the last 500 miles this Plymouth has received 4 new www radials from American classics, new dual exhaust front to rear, new drive shaft with a slip yoke and u joint replacing the ball and trunion, speedo was removed , cleaned and lubed.upper control arm and strut bushings, center link, ft end alignment, fuel pump, rebuilt carter AFB carb, front wheel bearings repacked, and comes with NOS back up light assy's (not pictured). Also included is a new L. hand rocker panel. Runs very strong, trans shifts like it should, the brakes were replaced , hoses, linings, wheel and master cylinders, return springs, linings right before I bought the car but sometimes they squeal and sometimes slightly pull to the right at low speeds. Also replaced right before I got the car were the rear axle bearings. The body is pretty decent. the only cancer is the L. rocker panel, small areas behind each rear wheel, and a 2 inch x 2 inch spot on the passenger front floorboard. the rest of the car is rock solid, and very sound,no roof rust. Some shallow dents on the roof. looks like minor repairs were done on the L. front fender years ago. The dash is beautiful, the car has very nice pot metal and trim, back seat is as new under the aging clear plastic, front seat needs recovering, originally came with a rubber floor covering and it is in excellent condition The rubber mat in the cargo area is nice too. no rust in cargo area. the door panels could be saved, the heat embossed vinyl is still nice, needs new back boards and cloth inserts. Cardboard headliner is all there. I have restored these before and can provide information how to restore it properly. The pictures speak for themselves, but I welcome inspection of this classic.
