Vehicle Detail
1967 Camaro Tubbed and Caged Tons of Custom Fabrication Stretched Wheel Wells Lift of Front End with Dzus throughout Includes Fiberglass Front End, Doors, cowl panel, vintage Hood with Scoop, Bumpers and Decklid (Fiberglass Doors not pictured but included) Set up for Ladder Bars, Shortened Ford 9" Rear End, Fuel Cell, Drive Shaft Loop Frame has been welded into the subframe and connected through the floors into a single re-enforced frame. Seat brackets are already welded in for driver and passenger to accommodate Kirky racing seats (not included). This car was customized and never reassembled and spent the last 15-20 years in storage. The hard work is already done. This gets you the car. Everything else is off the shelf bolt on. Sold with Bill of Sale ONLY! Original owner told me he came across the original "pink" certificate of title somewhere in his garage. It will take some $convincing$ to get him to dig for it. It's been out of the system so long it may not make a difference. Has all original VIN plates (124377L138XXXX)and a rusty Protect-O-Plate with the original purchasers information which dates the sale as 06/06/67. Original Los Angeles built car and has lived it's life in sunny California. Light surface rust after it was stored outside after entire car was sanded. Has been stored indoors. Rust Free. Original paint still shows under primer. Interior roof under headliner has heavy scaling where moisture was trapped. Still comes clean to bare metal with a wire brush, although pitted. See photo#_. Exterior roof is smooth with no dents. Rear window channel which is typically gone is still solid but pitted. Front corners of roof have small holes. Roof drip channels on A pillars look to have been trimmed. Body is perfect aside from some minor work needed where the wheel wells were widened. Tail panel has a couple dents and some filler. The original cowl panel was cut off however is included in the sale. (not pictured) Includes a few parts like Alston Ladder Bars, TH350 crossmember, Koni shocks never mounted but look old, original Centerline rear wheels with HUGE backspacing that were never installed since new. Just need a polish. Bunch of bolts and nut for the rear end stuff. I believe the fuel cell to be a Jazz but not sure. The rear end I believe is Art Carr just by looking at it. You be the judge of that. I have a heavy duty cart with four heavy duty castors that I use to move the car around on. I had it hauled on a flatbed to get it here on this same cart and tow straps. I can give you the phone number of the guy I used. He does interstate hauls too. You may also be able to rig up some Harbor Freight pneumatic tires, 2x4's and some long bolts to get it up on a trailer or rented car hauler without winching it and dragging it over plywood. Do what you like, but be aware I am losing my property where the car is stored so this needs to be done soon. I can't wait around for weeks while you get told NO by your favorite transporters. It is what it is. Pay what you think it's worth and not a penny more. You get only what's described. Don't bid if you can't arrange timely shipping or have it moved to a storage facility. The car will be 50 years old in just a couple more years so don't expect perfection. Rust Free in my understanding means you can't poke your finger through the lower quarter panels. Some cars are so badly rusted the paint is the only thing holding them together. This one is solid and dry and not full of dirt and leaves like some others I have seen here on eBay. I am not here to deceive anyone. This is a great foundation for the next glossy magazine build or a quick and dirty way to get on the racetrack without costing a fortune. I will email my personal home number to bidders who wish to ask anything not mentioned already. The photos pretty much say it all. Good luck and happy bidding! Get wrenching! Summers coming! *I have over 50 photos of the car. I am only able to post 24 on this listing. Email me if you want to see something specific.
