Vehicle Detail
I purchased this bike in October 2011 in the excellent cosmetic/mechanical shape and it is still just as nice today. The bike had about 18,000 miles when I purchased it and it now has 21,506. The bike ran flawlessly up until last spring when I went to bring it out of its winter storage. The bike started up but gas was running out the bottom of one of the carb float bowls. I have several bikes and never got around to looking into the issue. I am not sure if it is just a stuck float or if it needs more carb work than that but either way I feel strongly that it is not a serious issue? My original intention was to cafe this bike but to be honest it was so clean and in great condition I just couldn't bring myself to chopping it up and have since bought a tattier one to cafe. It has always been stored inside my basement since I have owned it and always covered. The bike includes the original owners manual and tool kit. In addition, I replaced the grips with new OEM grips replacing the foam grips the previous owner had installed as well as replaced the air filter. The battery was also replaced with a new replacement from Batteries Plus. The chrome on this bike is in excellent shape on both the bike trim and the wheels. When I put the bike in storage last year, all the lights, ect worked perfect. The bike had some very ugly aftermarket exhaust on it when I bought it and I just replaced the exhaust with a brand new MAC 4 into 1 exhaust which the bike has never been ran with because of the leaking carb issue. The title is 100% free of any liens and is in my name. This 1974 CB350F was the last and final year of the CB350F's and also the lowest production numbers. In addition to the improvements mentioned, I have also purchased exact replacement faces for the gauges which I never installed but which will be included with the sale of the bike and its new owner. All in all you are getting a very well preserved example of a fairly rare bike that is steadily increasing in value. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding and I will do my best to answer them and by all means please look carefully at the pictures as I have included several to help you realize the amazing condition of this motorcycle. I will cooperate to the best of my ability with your shipping arrangements but will not pay for any shipping as that will be the buyers responsibility. I will bring the bike to Forward Air in Omaha, NE (forwardair dot com) for flat fee of $100.00 including 2 new padlocks if you use Forward Air's pre-made motorcycle container shipping option but again you will be responsible for all shipping costs with any and all shippers as well as all arrangements to organize shipping. Omaha is a 2.45 hour drive one way for me so I am not profiting on this venture as my gas will cost about $80.00 plus the cost of the new matching combo padlocks. I am not even considering my time driving there and back. All the detailed pictures shown were taken this fall prior to my putting the bike back under cover in the basement. Bike is used and is being sold "as is" and without any warranty of any kind in writing ,expressed or otherwise. Thanks for taking time to read the auction info. and best of luck bidding.
