Vehicle Detail
Selling my old daily driver after getting a nice upgraded vehicle for Valentine's Day! 1984 GMC 1/2 ton with 4WD and Meyer plow. I purchased this truck coming up on 3 years ago, and drove it daily to and from work approx. 40 miles each day. It's a great work horse, but is just becoming too much to maintain for me. I've put a ton of work into this vehicle, and am asking to just get my return on the investment. There is well over $3500 in new parts, with $2K in tires and the plow rebuild alone. There are no issues with the frame whatsoever, and it has until April on the New York State Inspection.New Tires New remanned Rear end Front end work New front brake calipers, rotors and pads New rear brake cylinders and shoes New radiator New water pump New thermostat New alternator New hoses New battery New aftermarket gauge cluster New ignition cylinder New plugs/wires/distrib New belts New blower motor New trans cooler and had full trans service (filter, flush, etc..) New driver side door bushings 4WD works great 28 gallon custom aluminum gas tank I have the tailgate All lights work I have a replacement driver side window mechanism – the current one is slipping. There is a minor drain on the battery somewhere – I think it is the radio, and I put in a battery kill switch under the hood. Not sure if the head gasket is starting to leak or if it is just the extreme cold weather in Buffalo – it does have a minor hesitation when initially starting to accelerate. It honestly could just be a bad plug for all I know. I have the passenger side mirror – just needs new bolts. The plow is a Meyer, and has been completely rebuilt as well. New pump motor, new angle rams, new hoses, new solenoid, new wires, brand new light kit. I have posted videos of the vehicle while it was running, and did my best to give a complete picture of it. http://youtu.be/23KwejUQ2fghttp://youtu.be/PGIv5JTwjGwhttp://youtu.be/EbFeMN3zgFI http://youtu.be/vfamNRjfUvwThe reported accident a few months back was a vehicle rear-ending me on the expressway - there was no damage but the trailer hitch destroyed the vehicle that hit me, so it required reporting. I have the accident report and will show the purchaser. The truck was taken off the road not even two weeks ago. If you have questions, please ask. I am selling as-is, and the buyer will be responsible for facilitating the pick-up of the pickup.
