Vehicle Detail

Original retro orange paint, brown vinyl interior. Odometer stuck at 275k, likely ~290k miles and still kicking. Runs solidly but loudly. Some tears in the vinyl, some defects in the paint, but in relatively good condition for its age. Smoke free. This is a head turner for sure. Following is a list of repairs to be made as recommended by a local mechanic:Replace air pump, fan clutch and belts, front lower control arm bushings and align, front brake pads and rotors, diagnose lights and A/C, replace engine and transmission mounts, and repair wheel studs/lug nuts as needed. I was quoted $800-1200 to get it running smoothly. The main fuel pump, fuel pump relay, alternator, battery, and water pump have been replaced recently. Tires are new, but back tires like to go flat despite no holes (took them back to the store to check). Have not diagnosed that problem. Regarding the lights, the issue is that the right side brake and headlights are dimmed and the right turn signal is fast. The previous owner told me that it's a simple electrical problem that requires twisting some wires together, but I haven't messed with it. Passed emissions no problem the year prior, but registration and emissions expired in December. I haven't wanted to drive it due to the condition of the brakes, and would love to see this classic Volvo get the attention it deserves.
