1984 V45 Honda Magna (700 CC) 35,000 + miles - I have owned this bike since 2001 (and I have the title), and I drove it between 2001 and 2009. I have NOT driven it for about five years. Currently, the bike will start and run at an idle, but it is NOT in condition to drive off the lot. Additionally, the battery needs to be replaced. When I stopped driving this bike in 2009, it had a magneto problem in which it was firing in such a way as to NOT give the bike full power. Accordingly, sometimes the bike would fire on all cylinders and have full power and then randomly revert to firing on only some of its cylinders or at a lesser power. I calculate that this is a magneto problem because in about 2004, the bike had similar problems, and the magneto was replaced at that time with a used magneto. Additionally, since the bike has been sitting for several years, the fluid has leaked out of the clutch master cylinder and also leaked out of the front brake master cylinder. Accordingly, both master cylinders (clutch and front brake), need to be replaced. The bike has been registered in California as NON-operative since 2009. Comes with Clymer repair manual and two helmets. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick-up.
