Vehicle Detail
We found Great-Grand Pa's Hot Rod!!! L.O.L.!!! We have here what looks to be a 1918 Studebaker "Big Six" engine and Chassis. ( I used the dates on the block) You could build a Great American Race Speedster or Pre-war Indy car. IT IS A PROJECT!! The engine looks to be complete, with the carb, distributor oil pump, starter and generator and turns over freely. Looks like it could run with a little work. I can see an old repair to the block (crack). The trans is complete .The pressure plate is out of the car but it comes with it. Someone has mounted an 8" Ford rear axle and open drive shaft on leaf springs, they need shackles or quarter elliptical springs added., look at the pics. It has 4- 16" Ford wire wheels on the original axle. The front hubs will need new bearings to match the Studebaker spindles. The car rolls good. It has an Original radiator shell, 1925 Chevy headlights with one lense. Very Cool hand made cockpit cowling, old Coupe seat frame and the Speedster style gas tank come with it. I was told this car came from Arizona thru e-bay several years ago and I bought it here in Ohio with Grand plans but they have changed. You can tell it was a Western car by how rust free the chassis is. It looks like you could just wire brush it off and paint it. Rebuild it or use it for parts. $1500. No trades Shipping is up to you. No Title just a bill of sale. Call JR for more info 1-740-501-4908
