This is a 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe. It is the Business coupe, incase you don't know what that is....it was setup to have no back seat and ALOT of trunk room. My brother bought the car in early summer and lost interest. It was being stored at my house and it caught my interest enough to purchase it from him. After some time, I lost interest and the car was pushed out of my garage and into my driveway where it has became an eye soar to my wife. And that is no good! This car would make an awesome chop top kustom, maybe bagged with air ride, rat rod, or hot rod! Upon some inspection the car appears to be the start of someones "custom build" maybe between the 60's and 80's. It has some deteriorating fur material on the glove box, headliner and pillars along with some very aged "dingle balls". There is also some bondo work on the lower body of the car. It appears they were starting to mold the rear fenders to the body, but stopped after 8''. The split in the hood was also bondo'd over and at some point cracked out. The floors of the car seem to be the worst part, as to they have some serious rust issues. However, anything can be fixed. I am a fabricator by trade and am willing to do some work to the car for additional fees. The frame of the car seems to be in excellent shape, car has NO MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION and the tires have busted from age and will no longer hold air. The car is missing the bumpers, some grille parts, and is missing one 4'' piece of belt line trim. As far as interior, it has a headliner, door panels, dashboard, steering wheel and steering column. I also have two blue IROC Z front bucket seats that come with the car. Car comes with two sets of headlights and an aftermarket floor shifter.
