Runs and drives great. Good tires and brakes, new front half shaft axles, new battery, new timing belt, new water pump, new plugs, wires, hoses, filters, etc. The Swift gets approximately 30 mpg in the city, 35 mpg highway. This would be a great commuter car or kid’s first car. No accidents. Body has a few bumps and bruises as is typical with age and has peeling clear coat on the surface of the roof, hood and trunk. Body and undercarriage are rust free. Interior is very clean with new seat covers, wheel covers and floor mats. This vehicle originally had air but it is not working at the present time… Everything needed to repair the A/C, (spare parts), is pictured and included with the car. Don't let the mileage scare you these cars run forever. I purchased this vehicle with the intention of using it to reduce my fuel costs. Being a new resident to Florida, the cost to insure and tag it was far beyond my means, which is why it is being offered at auction today. The Suzuki has a clear Florida title. Unfortunately, since it is not tagged I have been unable to drive it extensively to discover any faults it may have, but within my neighborhood it seems to do okay and I have done the repairs listed above that I knew it required. The problems that I am aware of are… the paint as shown in the pictures, also someone has replaced the steering column at some point and used a column from either a different year or a different model. It is drivable as is, but it doesn’t actually fit as shown in the pics and would be better replaced, I just can’t invest any more cash at this point. The left rear door latch is broken, but workable as they have it rigged up. The drivers window glass is off track a bit… it does go up and down with the crank but doesn’t line up properly without manually lining it up. Reverse, first, second, third and fourth gear do just fine, but it seems to want to pop out of fifth… could be just the fact that I can’t get it up to speed in the short area, or may be an easy fix… not sure. With the low starting price and no reserve, there should be room for any small repairs that you may need.
