Selling my 1999 Subaru Forester with a freshly installed a Japanese import JDM EJ20 SOHC engine that has approximately 44,000 miles on it! Unfortunately I forgot to change the cam sprocket and timing belt but now I have no time or money to continue working on this car as I have other projects going on! Engine does turns over just fine, but no start! Engine has good compression at 210 psi all cylinders! Also has a brand new clutch installed! Car would be great for repair for a winter car or for parts! Engine that was installed is a JDM (Japanese domestic market) was sold to me by a reputable importer of Japanese direct engines Nagano USA, Cost of $1300.00! The car itself has 135k on it! Body is alright with a few dings and a rust hole over the rear quarter as shown in the pictures also as a few other spots of rust but nothing as bad as the Quarter! The car also has a brand new front right fender as I was planing on getting the car repainted! Interior is in decent as you can see in the pictures! Engine would be great for a transplant to another car as it has really low miles! Again it is a EJ20 SOHC engine fitted to 5 speed manual transmission and can be used for most 99-02 Subaru Forester, Impreza or Legacy with a SOHC Engine others may work but please do your research first!
