Up for auction today we offer this ONE family owned 1934 Pontiac Model 309 5 passenger sedan. Last driven in 1970. 66,000 original miles We carefully removed the car out of the garage where it had slumbered since 1970. We oiled down the original straight 8 cylinder.engine, slowly freed it up and now it Runs!!! The engine sounds GREAT, very little smoke which should clear up when driven. No noise's. transmission shifts fine. Tires look great,not cracked. The 6 wire wheels are in excellent shape. I am debating on sending them out to be blasted and powder coated. I'll let you know... Look at the ORIGINAL upholstery! Amazing for being 80 years old!.... A TRUE SURVIVOR!!! The contents of the glove box is like looking into a time capsule. The wood graining on the moldings and dash are in excellent condition. All the glass is good except one side vent.The gauges and dash lights appear to work and even the heater fan blows. The Black paint is not original ( it was green Originally) but still Very presentable for a car of this age. Lots of chips and scratches from being used as a shelf in the garage. THIS IS A VERY SOILD CAR WITH MINIMAL SIGNS OF RUST ! The running boards are rough but savable. Look the photos over, there are shots of before and after the clean up. Remember this: Its 80 years old and has not seen the light of day since 1970... 44 years! It still retains the optional Dual side mount spares with locks (no keys) and I think full wheel covers, all though I can't seem to get them over the tires, optional rear luggage rack and heater. It is missing a couple of hub caps for the spares ( the remaining 4 are rough) One front turn signal lense and one taillight. What you see in the pics. is what we have for the car.
