I can't remember, but I think he lost his job and needed the money. Anyway, I rode it home and rode it for a couple weeks before putting in a U-haul and driving it back home up to Montana. It's been stored indoors there ever since. It has been serviced, fluids drained, and kept clean, but other than being started every now and then, has not seen one mile on the road since 2007. This is a great bike, a real head turner and a rare kind of custom that looks authentic, not some tricked out cool guy hipster disaster. It's got a fat twin cap tank, flat track bars, white grips... it looks awesome. I'm happy to answer questions, but honestly I havent done much to it in almost 8 years so it is what it is. Which is to say, it is awesome. I paid $6000 for it in 2006, well before the current craze for these kinds of bikes, so I can only assume it's worth much more at this point.
