1975 Triumph Trident

1975 T160 trident, this is one of the most collectable of the late model Triumphs, this unit is in really nice condition. leaks a little oil, as with all triumphs. runs and shifts good, sounds sweet. I may be able to deliver this Trident if that is what it takes to sell it, but we will have to negotiate an additional fee for that ! I have a clean Pa. title, this bike has garnered 5 trophies and 4 ribbons at various shows, A 500.00 deposit to paypal is required with the balance due in 10 days ( cash only) if your not picking it up then we need to talk. no warranty as this bike is 38 yrs oldOn Dec-15-13 at 07:58:10 PST, seller added the following information: This baby has .020+ Hepolite pistons, Boyer Branson electronic ignition, Avon tyres, all lighting is original lucas except for the sealed beam headlight, seat is original but the cover is not, 2 stage paint was sourced from Don Hutchinson,rear wheel rim was NOS and stainless spokes from Buchanan ,front wheel was NOS, Imron paint on the frame ( because powder coating is cheap junk). The chrome is in really nice shape for 38 years old. starter works. it does leak a little oil at the head gasket, T160s are prone to this because of the forward cant of the cyclinders ( if you ride them) I used both copper and composite head gaskets and found the composite works better, but this has the copper one. AGM type battery.The exaust system is not original but I have the header pipes and center exaust manifold that I will include in this . I also have the headlight reflector that goes along too.. Most of the hardware on this girl is hand polished stainless fine thread with nylock nuts, All the big ticket items are original or OEM. I am going to reserve the right to end auction early as I am goind to list her locally also. this is one of the nicest Tridents around overall,,, not the nicest and not perfect, but very decent, I get many many compliments from a varied collection of people , young to old men and woman alike on the state of condition of the bike.
