Vehicle Detail
This car is a joy! It's an uncommon model, but still in great shape. Super smooth driving, very comfortable with A/C, definitely a good pick for a relaxing drive. I didn't personally restore and customize this car, but I do build cars as a hobby so you can be sure that it's in prime condition. I've had it for one year after getting it as a trade, but we just don't have enough room for it at home. It deserves to be driven more than we are able to take it out, so I'm hoping to find a good home for it. One of the highlights of this car is the paint job, which is white with a purple pearl underneath, so when the sun hits it, that beautiful purple shines out through the white. The firewall is a dark metallic purple and the dash is a striking magenta. The paint is in great condition, but there are a few blemishes. The most noticeable are a crack between the two rows of louvres on the hood and one on the top of the car (heat damage, I guess). There are also some minor dents on the chrome on the visor (from hail), and some blistering in the paint on the rear quarter panels. These are all still very minor, mind you, and you would only be able see them if you were looking really hard. The interior is partially finished in the rear, but fully finished in the front. The two front seats are both out of a '74 Camaro, and they're extremely comfortable. There are no seats in the back of the car, but there is certainly plenty of room if you wanted to install some yourself. The back is covered in gray carpet on the floor and up the sides, but the ceiling just has soundproof metallic wrapping. There are wood accents in the front, so maybe it would look cool with some wood paneling on the ceiling in the back. The driver's side floor was unfortunately oil-damaged (the oil pressure line broke and leaked down onto the carpet), so I cut that section of carpet out and just put a floor mat in its place. The doors (front and rear) are all electronic-open with hidden buttons, so there are no handles installed in the doors. The windows are electric, as well. All gauges are all in good working order except for the speedometer, which is stuck for some reason. The air conditioner motor fan makes some noise, may need to be replaced. There are purple mood lights installed underneath the car, the switch is inside the glovebox, along with a temperature dial. The motor is a 327 from 1968, which was rebuilt about 20 years ago. It still runs really well, no problems there. Lots of power. It does use a little oil. Transmission is a TH350, automatic. The sub-frame and rear end are from a '74 Camaro. The grille is from a 1953 Corvette, so the front end has an interesting look. The front tires are 225/50/R15, and the rear tires are P275/50/R15, still in very good shape. When I got the car, I replaced the alternator for a brand-new one, also a new Holley Carburetor (650 CM), and a new starter. 3 core radiator with electric fan (switch in the dash). Power brakes, BM shifter. Brand new Pioneer CD player, with a full speaker system in the back. I installed the CD player and speakers myself, so the wiring is all brand new. Please, serious bidders only. I'd prefer in-person pickup and cash, but if you're unable to come and pick up the car yourself, we can work something out (as well as payment). I do not want to pay for any kind of shipping. NO TRADES!! I don't even have enough room for this car, I don't need to replace it with something else. Please email me if you have any questions at all, and I can update the description if I forgot to mention something.
