Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1992 Geo Metro rare 4 door wagon. This Geo Metro is extra clean for being over 20 years old. It is an Automatic Transmission with cold A/C and hot heat. AM/FM Stereo with CD and MP3 jack and USB ports. This Geo has a little over 136K on the original engine. The head has recently been done on the top end of the engine. It has also had a new water pump, thermostat, radiator, and starter. This Geo drives down the street nice and smooth and does not shimmy or pull to either side. It has a clean Arizona title and is rust free. It was used by a college student to commute back and forth to school over the last few years. The interior is in great shape for the age. You don't find Geo Metro's in this shape very often. The 3 cylinder engine gets great gas mileage. Emissions is good until June 2016. The back hatch has new shocks. There is a matched set of 12 inch tires on the front and a matched set of 13 inch tires on the back. Tires are in good shape. The engine runs smooth. Take a look at our walk around video: Take a look at our photos slide show: As with any car, it has a few glitches. When the engine is cold it idles a bit high. When you shift from park to reverse, there is a knock. Once the engine idles dies down, the car shifts fine into all gears. When driving the transmission shifts fine in all gears, and for a 3 cylinder, the car has a bit of pep. Another glitch the car has is sometimes when starting the car, it will click like the battery is dead. After a few tries, the car will start up fine. In the last three years the student has owned the car, it has never failed to start with this issue, but it may take multiple tries. I also have driven the car and can confirm, with the issue, the car also starts. The engine light goes on and off with the wind. It is an O2 sensor that needs to be replaced. There are no holes in the seats, the dash has no cracks. The front vents are broken. This occurs quite often on older Geo's. The driver side door panel is a bit loose. The passenger side interior door handle/locks is a bit loose also, but the car locks fine. All door handles, inside and out work fine. The original silver paint is in good shape. The front and back bumpers paint has faded. The axles do not click. The car is straight, other than a minor fender bender on the hood which occurred in the last few years. There has been no repair work was previously done on this rust free Geo. This Geo has the potential of going another 100k if treated right. We require a $500 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the auction close. We will assist with shipping arrangements and deliver to a local Phoenix Arizona terminal. I have personally owned a half dozen Geo Metros (convertibles, hatchbacks from 1991 - 1997) and personally drive a 1991 Geo Metro with 122K Automatic Transmission more than 90 miles a day round trip to work. They are a very dependable cars, with the 3 cylinder (previous small air craft) Suzuki engine. Although this car was a daily driver, around town, I will leave it up to the buyer if they want to drive it home. As with any car of this age, I would use caution if driving long distances. Email or call me with any questions, Ann 623-695-9686. The compression check done on this Geo Metro is 150 psi in all three cylinders. On Dec-12-13 at 17:53:51 PST, seller added the following information: The Arizona Title is clear. It had 121,760 miles on the "A" box title (represents actual miles) on 2/11/2011 when I sold the car to the current owner. She put a little over 13,000 miles on it in the last 34 months, driving it around our neighbor hood. The autocheck report on the mileage in incorrect.
