1965 Jeep CJ6 Tuxedo Park Survivor You are bidding on a very original example of a 1965 Jeep CJ6 Tuxedo Park. I am the third owner of this vehicle with only two previous owners. This Jeep is in excellent originalcondition and has extremely limited corrosion due to the fact that it has been garaged its whole life. The sheet metal is all original including what apears to be the original paint (which does show some patina) and upholstery (excellent) and shows no evidence of corrosion or collision damage. This Jeep is still fitted with the original four cylinder and three speed transmission and two speed transfer case. The jeep also has a number of original features which are often missing including, original key, owners and parts manuals, working vacuum wipers (need blades, and vacuum tubing installed), working floor drains, original license plate mountings for the front and rear, original rear tail lights, etc. In addition it has a number of optional features which were ordered when this car was new. These include the deluxe bucket seats, working period Hickey sidewinder winch, front and rear traction differentials (according to the owner’s manual the presence of “Use Limited Diff Lube Only” tags on the differentials indicates a traction differential is fitted), period warn locking front hubs, and a rear passenger seat. Furthermore, the Jeep has the Tuxedo Park optional package which includes larger brakes, pleated seats, column shift, single lever transfer case, chrome bumper and trim, and wheel covers. According to factory production data only 115 CJ6 Tuxedo Parks CJ6s were made in 1965 and only 459 were made total making it a very unusual model. The Jeep has been well kept, has 5 matching tires in excellent condition, new brake master cylinder, brand new full soft top, fluids throughout, tuned up, and ready to enjoy. It has good power and runs along very nicely. I dont hesitate to drive it anywhere and it feels so much nicer on the highway than my friend's cj5 due to the longer wheelbase.
