Vehicle Detail

I'm offering up for sale a desirable and rare late 1940's or early 50's Chevy COE.I'm adding a couple more pictures at request, they won't be the best because I took them with my phone. One of the engine, one of the two speed PTO, and two of the interior. Truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end at any time. Thanks, chad Drive The 6 cylinder and 4 speed ran and drove when parked, but that's been several years ago now, so it may need the fuel system and carb flushed out and diesel poured in the cylinders to free it up if its seized (I don't know that it is but it could be the worst case scenario). The motor and tranny are complete, with wiring and accessories all as they should be...nothing robbed off of it...it looks as though it would fire right up, and it might with a good cleaning. I don't know much about PTO's but I'm told it does have a rare 2 way PTO, so the hoist was powered up and powered down (most lift up and gravity down)(actual hoist hydraulics were put on another truck, but the important part...the 2 way PTO and shaft is still there). BodySome infantile mind broke out the windows and headlights, but it doesn't look like they damaged much else, its all flat glass so its a fairly cheap replacement, and replacing old separated glass is something a restorer would do anyway, its just frustrating to see. Cab corners have rust, and will need replaced, and there will need to be some body work done on the drivers side as seen in the pictures, and the roof will need pushed out from someone standing on it, Fender steps are solid, grill has a bend on the last bar, but the bumper looks straight. The hood is in excellent condition. All as par for a 70 yr old grain truck, but these things were made with real steel and hold up pretty well. Interior Interior seat is all but weathered away, but everything seems solid inside, moving parts could use a good lube, gauges are there and unbroken. ChassisChassis looks good and solid, two speed rear end, has just one set of dual wheels on the back for moving around, all tires still holding air. I never checked the brakes but the no doubt they will need tinkering to work well, and it has the desired shorter wheel base... 134"?? All in all a great and desirable Cab Over Engine for restoration, Hot rod, or Rat rod. Comes with bill of sale only or for a fee I can help you get the title for it if your state is a pain. If you have any questions feel free to ask. If you're local I may take part trade or trade, for ford tractor(especially with loader, ford high performance parts, 70 and older ford cars or trucks, antiques, or ?? I like to barter. :-) Thanks, chad
