Here is a beautiful 1962 Jawa 50 model 05 Sport up for auction. This motorcycle was a response from the manufacturer in Czechoslovakia ( Povazske Strojarne ) to request of sporty 50 cc bike for young motorcycle enthusiasts wishing to participate in SDT ( Six Days Trials). The original model 05 was a scooter, not ment for any sport usage. Model 05 Sport had removed the "knee covers", was equipped with reinforced handlebar and off road rear tire ( see the picture). This motorcycle is in nice riding condition, all chrome parts are new ( except for small chrome peel on the handlebar - see the video), engine has new bearings, seals and crankshaft, new clutch,new tires ( front tire is the original NOS "Barum" tire). This is definitely not suitable for today's traffic ( max speed of 35-40MPH), so I would not use it as a daily driver. I do not have title for this motorcycle. It was found incomplete in barn and there was no tag or title with it. I will provide bill of sale. The VIN is 60015, Year of manufacture is 1962.
