Vehicle Detail
I bought this Scrambler about a month ago and now I need to sell it. I bought it from the first owner who kept in inside in his garage in Connecticut, rarely rode it, and had it dealer serviced. There is no reason other than an unrelated need to sell. Right after buying the bike, I invested in a series of upgrades, all of which I had done at Moto Borogotaro in Brooklyn, and at Ducati New York. I went for it and made the bike exactly what I wanted, really upgraded everything. I saw a bike with similar modifications (except for the pipes) sell for $18,000 recently. Here's a list of what I did to it: -Ceramic coated black Mass Moto exhaust, imported from Italy ($1200 alone) VERY RARE-Headlight grill-YSS rear shocks, custom set for 180 pounds-O2 Sensor removal-AIS Override-Airbox Removal Kit, replaced stock with British Customs Kit and K&N Filters-British Customs rear fender eliminator kit with red (and clear) Lucas style lens-7/8" drag bars (also ordered a pair of Renthal dirt track bars that I'll throw in)-Flat black low profile "bullet-style" turn signals, front and rear-Brush guard bars and rock guard plate installed on the front of motor case-T.O.R. ECU flash and performance re-mapped-Locking gas cap to deter thievery and sugar from bitter exes, etc.-I also have the center stand and original rear fender and taillight, which I removed. This bike starts and runs like the new bike that it is. The only thing left to do is lower profile rearview mirrors, I just haven't found a set I like yet. I've owned bikes my entire adult life and have treated this one with the respect and adult riding style that comes with having over 20 years on the road. Actually, I bought it with 1600 miles on it so I only put 800 miles on it, anyway! I'm starting the price of the bike at what I actually paid for it, and hopefully the auction will help me recoup what I spent in upgrades (over $3000). Other than that I'm SELLING IT NO RESERVE. Good luck and hit me up with any questions. 917-523-8871 (also: it has Montana plates because I registered it there, but it's a New York bike, located in New York City)
