You are bidding on a 1953 Jaguar MarkVII Sedan. The vehicle has gone through a frame off body restoration and has been upgraded with a modern engine and drivetrain. Mechanical: Engine is a small block Chevrolet equipped with a high performance camshaft, Edelbroc Performer intake manifold with a Holley 4 barrel carburator. Chrome exhaust headers with dual exhaust. GM Turbo 400 transmission custom driveshaft with a Ford 8 inch differential. Air conditioning has just been rebuilt with new compressor, condensor and ac and heater hoses. It has a 4 row radiator with both mechanical and electric fans.A Mustang II subframe has been carefully grafted to the Jaguar frame with rack and pinion steering and power disc brakes. Body: The body was removed and the frame sandblasted, repaired and painted. All body parts were painted seperatly and installed on the reconditioned frame.It has a new Flaming River tilt steering column with new wood steering wheel. The interior seating surfaces a covered with red leather. The entire interior was reupholstered in a tasteful maroon and grey. All glass is good and all windows work.
