We had this listed before - had it sold twice - okay here it is back - we have too many projects to do - this is your gain - mounted onto your choice of late model chassis - makes this a hot little ride - go for it - if you're a student / teen first project builder - we will guide you via phone and Email for free - no problem. This is one very cute and very rare little truck - We have too many projects backing up with MotorMoods - This one is scheduled for rebuild next spring at the soonest. So, we though we would test the market a little with it "as is" to see if anyone else likes it. Here's the scoop - the truck was used on a farm back in 1969. At that time due to rough terrain driving, the steering box failed. It was pulled into the shop and never fixed. Over the years someone needed the wheels, a carburetor, the seat, air cleaner and a generator - so those items are missing. In the summer of this year we rescued the truck, pretty much "as shown"with a good Nevada title dated 1969. I did not look at the miles. The engine is free and does spin over with the starter. We did put some oil in the cylinders to preserve it for now. We did unhook the steering box so the front wheels can be turned. There was a dent in the body under the driver's door - we removed that piece and straightened the metal out to be re-welded back into place. The back window was removed in good condition to change the rubber seal and straighten a dent near it. All of the wheels were missing so we did mount some used wheels and tires with blue paint as shown. If this vehicle does not sell - our plans are one of the two following options - 1) Convert it to an electric vehicle and rent it out as a marketing tool. - Make an assortment of blank side boards for the bed and sell them to retail vendors so they can rent the truck and use it for public events and local parking at any location promoting their business. 2) Remove the complete cab only and mount it to a small Nissan four wheel drive pick up truck. Then build a step side bed with large fenders all the way around to simulate a mini version of a 1955 Dodge Power Wagon. (see included example picture of full size power wagon) Then sell the original parts like the bed, running engine, chassis and rear end. Answers to common questions so far - 1)Yes - we can quote placing this body onto a small truck chassis you have access to - However, we would prefer helping you do it yourself. Via phone and email we can walk you through every step no problem. 2) Yes - if we made this truck into a mini clone of the 55 Power Wagon - the complete front clip of this truck would not be used at all. We would fabricate a new hood and grill that is tapered from the cowl on out. The fenders and new step side box are all non-compound bend steel panels broke and rolled. Our thoughts on usage of the original front clip is that this assembly is the ideal size for a very unique office desk. Just add wheels and a wooden flat top.
