1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R Concours Restored Available from my collection of concours restored Triumph motorcycles is this exceptional ’69 Bonneville. The recipient of a comprehensive restoration to exacting standards, this motorcycle was an invited participant on the 2013 Quail Motorcycle Ride in Carmel, and performed flawlessly throughout, including the climatic laps at the infamous Laguna Seca racetrack! Every nut and bolt of this Bonneville was addressed during the restoration, which was completed to exacting original equipment standards with the exception of an expensive (non-visible) TriSpark electronic ignition, and new replacement Amal carburetors for reliable riding at concours events such as the Quail. The original matching numbers Amal carburetors and air cleaners were also restored, and are included in the sale. The frame was media blasted and painted (not powder coated), the engine completely dismantled, rebuilt, balanced, and re-assembled (photo documentation included), and a NOS wiring harness installed. The forks, wheels, and every nut and bolt were re-finished to OEM standards and rebuilt to perform as new. The paint was supplied by Don Hutchinson and applied to better than new standards, with care taken to match the original pattern and pinstripe widths. The following photographs show the incredible quality of this motorcycle. She takes one kick to start, and settles to a slow idle in a few seconds. 1969 is considered by most to be the best year for unit construction Bonneville’s due to the glorious Olympic Flame and Silver color scheme, powerful front brake, and sublime handling.
