FOR SALE: 1998 Dodge Ram Pickup Quad Cab 2500 4-Door 5.9L V8 Automatic Diesel First, let's get all the obvious defects out of the way: Body damage driver's left front above parking light. Ding on passengers side front door. Paint scratches and typical wear and tear for a work truck. Driver's side upholstery shows wear that can be resolved with a seat cover. The dash has cracked up near the front. The tires still have some life but will need to be replaced in the not too distant future. This is a great driving truck. Smooth ride, comfortable. The 4 doors make taking passengers a breeze and there's plenty of legroom on the back. Power everything. Great sound system. This is a solid truck that will make someone a great farm, ranch or work vehicle - and we were surprised that it really wasn't that hard on fuel. We've crawled under the truck and see only surface rust, exactly what one would expect from a truck made in 1998. There is no body rust or deterioration evident. Good brakes. All the lights and signals work as they should. Plenty of the comforts with wide seats, plenty of cup holders and places to plug in your electronic accessories. The bed is in good condition and we were pleased to see no damage and a functioning tailgate. The PCM was flashed in '04 along with some other modifications, which tells us that for a good deal of this truck's life, it must have received pretty regular maintenance. All of the fluid levels were good, no oil or fluid leaks after parking it on the concrete for several days and running it regularly. This Quad cab in just fair condition Blue Books at well over $7,000, but we're offering it up in this NO RESERVE AUCTION.
