The 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is an absolute dream to drive. This model cost $70,000 brand new and is capable of 0-60mph in less than 3.7 seconds with a top speed in the 200mph range. This particular car is sport tuned for handling with a few performance upgrades. This Z06 has a Pfadt Johnny O’Connell Stage 2 suspension. This package is a $3800 upgrade and includes C6 Z06 Adjustable coil over shocks and C6 Z06 light rate sway bars. Corvette Racing Team driver Johnny O’Connell helped design this package and calls it the perfect dual-use street/track set up to increase cornering grip without sacrificing ride quality on the street. This means you can drive to your track days comfortably, then dial things in for added performance on the track, and revert to the street configuration for your ride back home. But most of us will just enjoy the added handling characteristics on those Sunday drives through the twisty mountain passes. For those of you who decide to take it to a race track, this package will take full seconds off your stock Z06 lap times. This Z06 also has a mild performance boost with a few key bolt ons. It has a K&N Cold Air Kit, Pfadt Tri-Y headers, and a Pfadt Street Tune. This boosts the stock Z06 from 505HP to 565HP and gives it a more race car type sound, that is still very comfortable around town. This car also has upgraded wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, track pad brake upgrades and new brake rotors to help you stop quicker without fading. I still have many of the original parts as well so if that is of interest to you we can work out a deal if you purchase this vehicle. Now that all the details are out of the way let me actually describe this car to you. This car will give you the confidence you need to enter and exit corners with gusto and safely come out. It rides and sounds like a sports car is meant to sound and it turns heads wherever you go. Just a few blips of the throttle and your day seems a lot better and the commute to work becomes the best part of your day. I’m selling this car because I just bought a new C7 and while I almost said upgraded there - the new C7 isn’t really an upgrade. It’s an awesome car but the two cars are completely different. The C6 Z06 feels like an awesome race car while the new C7 is quieter and more like a fast sports car. I will really miss this car. I’m not sure they will ever make another one like this model. While this car was garage kept it has some tiny rock chips and other mild defects like two tears shown in the carpet in the rear deck.
