We have a vintage 1975 Honda qa50 motorcycle. This motorcycle is in very nice shape, and was faithfully refurbished by myself and a Honda parts specialist. All genuine Honda parts were used when possible or, when necessary, the best reproductions available at the time. The bike runs, drives, and stops just fine. The fenders are original as repops were not available at the time we built it back up. The only non-original aspect is the color change of the forks to black, as opposed to silver, purely for cosmetic preference. Grips, peg pads, fork boots, brake cable boot, and most other rubber and/or seal you can get was replaced. Tires are originals in nice shape, with good tubes. The gas tank is the original, with it's original paint and logos, and cap. It has a dent in the top which very well may come out with some compressed air tricks or even a good PDR guy. The seat is in beautiful shape but I can not confirm it's origins. This bike has NOT had the classic gear-slip issue worked on, so it does slip now and then. Upon startup, after sitting for a while (too long), the bike smokes. It is likely the rings, but ceases almost entirely upon warm-up. I'll leave it to the next owner to investigate, I'm on to new projects! ***NOTE: The qa50 was previously listed incorrectly as having "Flood, Water Damage" in the Title section.
