The VTX 1800 is for those who want serious power in an extremely attractive package. The focal point of the Honda VTX 1800 is, obviously, it's engine: a liquid-cooled 1795cc V-twin. This provides a quarter-mile acceleration of 12.3 seconds, crossing the line at 105.5mph. An engine this powerful deserved some new brakes and throttle, so Honda updated its linking brake featureand improved the throttle with its Programmed Fuel Injection system. And in the interest of keeping this 758lb (weight with a full 4.5-gallon tank) behemoth civil, the VTX 1800 is wonderfully comfortable to sit on and very manageable in traffic. And the sultry curves of its truly beautiful styling make this motorcycle look as good as it deserves to. The VTX 1800 was introduced in 2002 and was the first in the VTX series, which was inspired by the Zodia concept from the 1995 Tokyo Motor show. At the time, the bike's power plant was the largest displacement production V-twin engine on the planet, sporting the largest pistons ever produced for a motorcycle or car.
