2003 SAAB 9-3 SE Convertible / 109,000 Miles / 5 Speed / Rare Sport Package / Clean Carfax Up for auction is a rare 5 Speed, Sport Package, Saab 9-3 4 Cylinder Turbo Convertible. This SAAB runs Excellent! There are No Check engine lights on, No engine noises, No smoking, No overheating. The transmission shifts great and the clutch grabs very well. The Convertible top goes up and down with out issues and does not leak water. This 9-3 is loaded with all the options: Rare factory Sport Package which includes Viggen style front and rear bumpers, Viggen style side skirts, Factory Carbon Fiber look dash overlay, Sport seats, Rear wing, 17 inch Sport Wheels, Auto Climate Control with Cold AC and Hot Heat, Heated Seats, On board computer display, Working Keyless entry, Fog lights, On Star and more! The body and paint are in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures. I would like to point out that the front bumper has minor damage likely caused by a curb scrape at the bottom drivers corner only under the drivers fog light (see pic). The interior is in great shape for its age and being a convertible car it does not show any sun damage. I would also like to note there are a few interior scratches here and there on the center console lid, rear console lid housing, auto climate surround plastic, and a few on the seats, this is me being picky. As you can see in the interior pictures the On Board Display is missing. We have sent the display unit out to be rebuilt and reinstalled by end of auction. The convertible top has 2 stretch marks that are very common in this area, these are not rips (see pic). As far as the mechanicals go we have: Replaced the alternator, Changed the oil with a factory Mann/Mahle oil filter and used Mobile 1 Synthetic oil. We replaced the cam plug seal, a very common oil leak on 9-3's. An alignment was performed and we noted the previous owner replaced the front struts. All 4 tires are in excellent shape with a good 85% tread left. This 9-3 Turbo runs Great and looks Great. I would not hesitate to drive it home any where in the US. * We are a used car dealer and can provide temporary tags with proof of insurance and license. On Nov-09-13 at 19:20:02 PST, seller added the following information: ***NOTE*** The auto climate control display LCD has started to fade in and out. This is a common issue 9-3's. There are many of rebuild companies that can replace the LCD for under $100. The Auto Climate unit does work correctly but it is hard to see the display. ***NOTE*** We have also replaced the valve cover gasket and PCV valve while changing the cam plug seal. The spark plugs look excellent are the correct OEM matching plugs.
