Vehicle Detail
1970 Chevy Malibu350 Small BlockTurbo 350 Transmission336 Auburn 10 Bolt Posi16" ZQ8 Rims58000 Original Miles2nd Owner (owned since 1995) Up for sale is an extremely nice 70 Chevelle Malibu. I am selling this for a good friend of mine. He doesn't want to deal with phone calls or emails and really wants it out of his garage. He always kept it at his mom's in her shed, but she moved to town and he lost his winter storage. He is tired of scraping windows on his pickup and wants it gone. (I know, right?)Anyway, he bought the car in 1995 with 38500 miles from the daughter of the original owner. He passed away and she inherited it. He can't remember if she titled it or not so he may technically be the third owner. The car was originally blue with a 307 in it. He drove it this way until 1998. He then had a mildly built 350 installed with the Auburn posi. The car was then stripped, primed and painted pearl white with blue stripes. The left fender was replaced with a Goodmark fender due to a large dent on the body line. The right fender had a small rust hole around the marker light. This was cut out and replaced with new metal from a donor fender. The floorboards, quarters, rockers, trunk, etc. are original! The hood is an original all steel one from a 1971 Heavy Chevy. The interior is all original except the carpet and seats. The seats were professionally redone at the time of paint and new carpet was installed. All the gauges work and the dash is in beautiful condition. It is a non A/C car. The car is a great cruiser and would definitely be able to be driven anywhere in the country. He wants it known that the engine uses a small amount of oil. No leaks or spots on the floor and I assume it's from not being driven much. He had paperwork for the engine but can't find it now. It isn't extreme, just a good running mild rebuild that runs on pump gas. The transmission hasn't been touched other than maintenance and shifts like it should. It rides on Kumho Ecsta 215 60 16's up front and 235 60 16's out back. It does have disc brakes up front. The car literally could be driven anywhere with ease. Just hop in and go. The title is free and clear of any liens and in his possession. He wants the car out of his garage but he will not give it away. The car is priced reasonable and you will have a hard time finding one this solid and straight. Make an offer. Like I said, I am selling this for a good friend. I will answer all questions, get you more photos if needed, or even pick you up at the airport in Des Moines. The car needs to be paid for within 7 days. Any questions, feel free to email or call me. Thanks. Brad(641) 891-1546 I
