I am offering this diesel Discovery 1 with NO RESERVE - It will sell to the highest bidder. BE aware however that I have this for sale locally as well and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. If you really want the truck be sure to bid now and not wait until the end! I have here an especially clean and nice 1999 Discovery 1 automatic that was converted to 300tdi Land Rover turbo-diesel power. Starts, runs and drives great! Gets 32 or better MPG consistently. Engine and gearbox have only 120K miles on them, and we JUST installed a new timing belt, engine seals and water pump. Good to go for another 90K miles before a service! Truck looks great, and headliner is in place, no sunroofs to leak, oversize tires are in great condition, body and frame have no rust anywhere. Factory stereo works great. Power leather seats and door panels work and look great. Central locking. A/C maintained and works too, rare with the diesel conversion! Red paint looks great, but truck was 4-wheeled on occasion and there are faint scratches in the clear coat in the sides if you look carefully, may buff out? I really do not notice or care. Truck runs great and has no leaks. These diesel conversions are hard to find, and get great mileage and are super-reliable. The last one I had sold for $14000, I am offering this one for much less to sell fast, if you want it I suggest you buy it now, bid now, or contact me for any other arrangement. I would not hesitate to jump in this now and drive it anywhere as-is - If you are from out of town or out of state I can pick you up at the airport/ train station/ etc. Would be a fun trip to take back - Truck smells good inside - was owned by non-smoker, non-dog owners apparently. All power accessories work as they should.
