1956 CHEVROLET HALF-TON PICK-UP TRUCK – RESTORED - NEEDS FINAL ASSEMBLY! NOTE: I am listing this truck for a good friend who does not currently have access to a computer/computer service – he has just relocated to the Jackson, TN area, so if you have any questions or need additional information – CALL THOMAS AT 618-518-0812. This is an exceptional 1956 Chevrolet 3200 Series Half-ton Long Bed Pick-up with a 265-2V V8 engine and 3-spd Overdrive Transmission. A total restoration of the truck was started a few years ago – but life events now dictate that it needs to go to a new owner. A professional body shop installed a new floor pan, hood, doors, cab corners, and tailgate, and it is painted a beautiful Sunset Gold Metallic – the paint is still beautiful and perfect! I have most of the parts to finish assembly of the truck (pictured in the tubs and boxes in the bed of the truck, and beside it). The seat assembly is in average condition – it will need to be reupholstered. I have not yet purchased a new windshield, but also included with the truck is a new chrome grill, rebuilt instrument assembly, and new vent and side windows. Also, a new horn cap, steering wheel, interior rear view mirror and bracket, and a new exterior rubber kit. The engine has been rebuilt by a professional performance machine shop (records available) and it is engine # 3720991, which is correct for the 1956 year models. The Rochester 2-bbl Carburetor has also been rebuilt with NOS parts. DELIVERY: This truck is currently located near Jackson, TN.
