Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a beautiful 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V coupe. The car is equipped with the 460 V8 and has 88,567 original miles. This Lincoln was owned by a elderly retired Police Officer and was garaged kept. For a 1978 model, this car is in amazing condition. The only problems that I have found is the power door lock switch, the horn, and the power seat switch doesn't work. Which I have read are very common on these cars and could be very simple to fix. The air conditioner works but needs to be charged. Everything else is functional, right down to the Cartier clock. I try my best to accurately describe each item I sell, as my feedback reflects, so bid with confidence. The tires have less thank 2k miles on them. Again, this car is in EXCELLENT condition for its age and the pics speak for their self. I do not need help selling the car, so please don't message me wanting to list it on your website. I will not ship this car, if you want it shipped, please line it up yourself. I will only accept cash or a cashiers check as forms of payment. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for viewing. On Oct-21-13 at 12:51:24 PDT, seller added the following information:The reserve is set at $2000. That's a super cheap price for a car in this condition. Good luck.On Oct-24-13 at 17:01:46 PDT, seller added the following information: It has been brought to my attention that there is not a clear photo of the drivers seat. The leather is in excellent condition, as is the passenger seat. I take great pride in my reputation on eBay and providing accurate descriptions of the items I sell, so bid with confidence. Thanks. On Oct-24-13 at 18:16:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I went out and checked the fuses to see if I could find the reason for the power seats not working, tonight. There isn't a fuse in the power seat spot, in the fuse box, so that very well may be the culprit. I don't have any round 30 amp fuses handy but will try to pick some up tomorrow and see if that gets the power seats back working. On Oct-25-13 at 09:13:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I created a photobucket album that has a few more pictures of the car for those who are interested. Here is the link: http://s1293.photobucket.com/user/Punisher0822/library/LincolnOn Oct-25-13 at 18:25:34 PDT, seller added the following information: **********The drivers power seat and horn ARE NOW WORKING. The missing fuse was the culprit. Thanks for viewing*************
