Revered among automotive connoisseurs as one of the best engines and transmissions ever made. Autoweek declared the S2000 Transmission the best manual transmission ever made. This car was first licensed in Washington State in 2009 on a collector plate as a 1967 Lotus 7 replica fair weather vehicle but is now in Castle Rock, CO. The good - it is extremely responsive to steering and throttle input - the negative, heim joints do make some noiseSince this car has been driven on the public roads it has acquired a few stone chips that I have tried to keep touched up and polished using only Griots ProductsThere is a chip on the finish of the left front wheel and a few on rear fenders that have been touched up.The nose is one piece hand layed up fibreglass thus shows slight irregularities under artificial lighting, the remainder of the body is aluminum and is very smooth in appearance.Since this car is built with a new stock Honda engine and transmission, I would expect nothing less than the SUPERIOR Honda reliability known worldwideI am 6ft and 195 lbs and fit very comfortably, the pedal assembly adjusts for drivers of different height. NO Wipers, Heater or Top as this car is built as a "fair weather car" and licensed accordingly. The manufacturer does offer all of these as options as well as forced induction and air conditioning. Now, please be aware that this is a VERY HIGH PERFORMANCE VEHICLE and requires your full attention at all times although it is as easy to drive as any other small performance car.The factory lists 0 to 60 performance of 3.5 seconds and I have no reason to question this claim! This car is being sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer for transportation and shipping. I will assist in loading of the vehicle from my location. Due to the type of car, it is suggested transportation in an enclosed truck or trailer. This car has a reserve slightly higher than half the cost of a new Ultralite S2K (after options price is greater than $40,000) It was built with a new (Gen 2) Honda S2000 engine and transmission. Honda has discontinued the S2000 thus it would be unlikely this car could be duplicated as built.Lots of spare parts, and very nice custom car cover included.
