Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 1969 Mustang convertible. It has a 250 CI 6 cylinder motor, automatic transmission, and power steering. It runs and drives well and the top is in good condition. We are a Mustang restoration shop and this belongs to a customer and we are selling this for him. We have a web site called "Mustangcraftsmen.com". Our customer wants a concours restored '69 Mustang convertible with a V8, manual transmission, and deluxe interior. Upon the inspection of this car we found that it exceeds his budget to install the options and restore this car to a concours level that our customer would like so we have found another solution for him. The engine starts and runs well, the automatic transmission shifts correctly, and the steering and brakes work well. The mileage appears to be correct but there is no way to know for sure due to the age of the car. There is no eveidence of any prior accident damage. This car has been painted but has minor scratches and chips. There is plastic filler in the doors, quarter panels, and fenders. The floor boards, inner rocker panels, and torque boxes have the normal rust for a Mustang of this age. It has Goodyear tires that are in very good condition. The upholstry appears to be original and has some tears and speaker holes in the inner quarter panels. There are some minor parts including the radio that are missing. This is a good driving car but will need some floor and frame rust restoration. This car can be enjoyed on sunny days now and can be restored over time. The car is drivable for short distances and we have a trailer that we can transport the car several hundred miles for a fee if necessary. If you have any questions about this car you can email Paul at "beardpa@aol.com". Or call me at 989-860-3948. Please call in the evening since I work during the day. Please do not bid if your feedback score is 2 or less.On Oct-14-13 at 08:57:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Our shop has not done any work to this Mustang other than putting in fresh gas, filling fluids, getting it running, and cleaning. We can tell it has been painted several years ago but have no idea of the quality of work this car has had done. The sale is "as-is" with no warranty or guarantee. On Oct-16-13 at 07:59:56 PDT, seller added the following information: The pictures of the bottom of the floor and trunk floor are of the areas that I feel were patched poorly and eventually should be repaired with the correct panels to make this a better car. Our inspection showed these areas as the worst. This is typical rust for a 1969 Mustang however and is not a major job to repair correctly. The front suspension, steering, rear axle, etc. are fine. I can provide more photos if necessary.
