Vehicle Detail

Ladies and gentlemen here's your chance to own one of the nicest 12 valves around. It's becoming harder and harder to find LOW MILEAGE UNMOLESTED 12 valves. It's a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins 12 valve SLT Laramie. It currently only has 72,403 miles on it. It is my daily driver now, so the miles will increase each day. I bought this truck back in the Spring off of a guy who sells great quality trucks on Ebay on a regular basis. The truck was completely STOCK. I began driving the truck bone stock for 2 months to see what all I'd like to do with it. This truck is COMPLETELY STOCK mechanically and makes it very special. A lot of the 12 valves are modified by many backyard mechanics and it's difficult to find a truck like this. I decided to restore the truck cosmetically and did a complete body off restoration and restored the interior as well. There was ZERO rust on this truck which makes it even more special. The truck has a lot of high quality brand name parts. The trucks done right. Taking a closer look... Suspension:I bought 2" bigger coils to get the front end up in the air. It definitely gave it an impressive stance. Also, it received 4 Skyjacker shocks. I then had the front end alignment done. The wheels are 18x9 Dale Earnhardt Jr. wheels wrapped in Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.50x18. (Only 2,000 miles on them.) Body:I had a local guy in (PA) do a complete body off restoration. There was a crease in the passenger side fender from the previous owner. I had a brand new fender put on (Welded to the inner fender). It's done exactly like they were from the factory. Also, I bought a Sport bumper and grill. I love the looks of the Sport Package. In addition, I added a fiberglass ram air hood. He also took the bed, fenders, and doors off the truck. The truck was originally two-tone Green and Silver. I had the color switched to Mopar PDR DuPont base and clear. It received 3 coats of base and 3 coats of clear. The engine bay is done in Semi-gloss black. After, the truck was repainted. I bought Recon 3rd Gen cab lights, taillights, 3rd brake light, and headlights. I have HID bulbs (still need to put them in). I bought the power tow mirror (also bought the braces so they don't bounce, like I said every little step is done right.) A LOT and I mean A LOT of time was spent sanding down the frame and underneath of the truck and I used Body Armor spray on bedliner was used for undercoating purposes. The underneath of the truck is very nice and clean for a true driver. Lastly, to finish it off I had the windows tinted 20% all the way around. Interior:I completely gutted the whole truck. I took the cab floors down to bare metal. They've been primed and then used Dupli-Color bedliner on the floor to seal as well as add sound protection. I bought new black carpet from Summit-Racing. I put in a new dash cap. The original had two little cracks and it bothered me. Next, I put in an Alpine head unit and all new Infinite speakers throughout. The truck still has the original clothe seats. I wanted to put leather seats in it, but I unfortunately didn't get that far. Driveline:The 12 valve is stock except I put a BHAF on it. (Open Air Filter for those who are not familiar with the BHAF term.) I'm running a downpipe only on the truck. The exhaust is MIA. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a turbo back exhaust (4 or 5"). or I was going to put 8" Mitre Cut stacks, but I couldn't see cutting a hole in the bed of a gem like this. The transmission is stock. (Filter and fluids were changed). The front-end and rear-end work properly. Brakes are good all the way around. ***This truck was built with the intent of it being a VERY CLEAN and RESPECTABLE driver. It's not a show truck.*** On Oct-13-13 at 07:59:48 PDT, seller added the following information: ***WARNING I choose the right to delete any bidder with 0 or negative feedback from the auction, it cost money and time to list items***On Oct-17-13 at 19:11:43 PDT, seller added the following information: ****48 HOURS LEFT**** Okay folks the reserve price has been met ($18,000) this truck will be sold. HOWEVER, if I haven't been contacted by you OR you have zero or negative feedback I reserve the right to delete your bid. Listing a vehicle takes time and effort of not only the seller, but other buyers. I have spoken to several of you throughout the past week and it's nice to know several of you understand how special this truck is. I appreciate all the serious inquires about it. I want this to be a positive experience for all buyers and is why I will delete any "fake bidders" or boys who are dreaming. Thank you once again for all the wonderful compliments on the truck and best of luck to all of you!!! I want my truck to go to a good home and be taken care of by a responsible buyer.
