Vehicle Detail
1992 Ford F250 XLT 4X4 SuperCab/Long bed 460/7.5L engine 4 speed automatic transmission 170,191 miles on odometer at time of listing Approx. 28,000 miles on the newer transmission (remanufactured transmission was put in 7 years ago) 4 Wheel DriveHeater works good, A/C works tooHas a CD player that works however the tracks or radio station doesn't display on the dial New water pump installed about a month ago (3 year/36,000 mile warranty @ Lithia Ford) New thermostat installed about a month ago (3 year/36,000 mile warranty @ Lithia Ford) New valve cover/timing chain cover kit put in about a month ago (3 year/36,000 mile warranty @ Lithia Ford) New flex plate installed about a month ago (3 year/36,000 mile warranty @ Lithia Ford)Engine repaired where a tiny crack was starting in the block, mechanic welded it about a month ago(said it should be fine for the life of the engine, there's no coolant getting into the oil or vice versa.) New radiator and hoses put in June 2013 New engine block heater installed 10/9/2013 (3 year/36,000 mile warranty @ Lithia Ford) Remanufactured transmission in 2006 (about 28,000 miles on it) 4 brand new matching stock 16 inch tires put on 9/2012 about 5,000 miles ago 4 like-new stock wheels put on 9/2012 about 5,000 miles ago Other work done the past 7 years as well. Lots of records available. I'll include all the paperwork for recent work done, maintenance, transmission, etc. Regularly maintained/regular oil changes I started using a synthetic-blend oil 8/2012 and switched to full synthetic valvoline in May 2013. I always use the recommended 10w-30. Will either come with a fresh oil change of Mobil 1 full synthetic 10w-30 or if I don’t get around to it I’ll include the 6 quarts of Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 10-30 and a Motorcraft FL1-HP oil filter. Air filter and fuel filter are still fine. WIll also include an extra air filter that I have. Comes with owner’s manual, 2 ignition keys, and 1 door key. Ignition was changed so the door key doesn’t start it.Has some surface rust on the top of the cab (see photos)Has a dent in the back on the side (see photos)Has some scratches, scuffs, and minor dings but overall looks good for its ageBed liner coming up a little on the sides, doesn't really matter thoughJust put over $2,200 worth of work into it @ Ford. Known Issues: a) Passenger window does not roll down. b) Minor leak in front differential (barely leaks, was told by a mechanic it's not a major concern as even if repaired bumps in the road could cause it to leak again because of the design of the axle. When we go in for oil changes it barely needs any gear oil. It's ok to leave it like this, it's common on these trucks.). c) Something going on with the exhaust system, not sure what it is exactly. Sometimes the exhaust issue causes the check engine light to come on and it gives a code for EGR. It's not an actual engine problem, engine's fine. Advisor at the Ford dealer said it's not going to break down or leave you stranded because of it, it's still gonna drive fine. d) Driver side door only opens from the outside (power locks and keys all work fine) Starts up great (no trouble starting), runs great. I would keep it if it was a regular cab, I don't need something so large and long anymore. Clean and clear Idaho title. No accidents. Kelley Blue Book Value for a 1993 with the same engine and options is about $5,500.In July we drove it from California to Idaho (550 miles through hills and mountains) with about 3,000 pounds of stuff in the bed and backseat. Drove perfect the entire trip, no overheating or trouble at all. Please read the entire ad and ask any questions you might have before purchasing. Vehicle is located in Boise, Idaho and would need to be picked up by the buyer. If it is to be shipped, buyer must arrange and pay for that separately. I cannot ship it or pay for any shipping on it. Vehicle sold as-is with no warranty implied. No returns or refunds. I must accurately state the sale price on the title/release of liability at time of transfer, I cannot put that I've sold it for less to save on taxes or fees. Tel: 208-957-0350
