This beautiful XJ8L was purchased (used) in 2008 for my wife from a dealer for about $23K. The car was in a minor fender bender involving the rear door prior to our puchasing it, which had been repaired. There have been no accidents since our purchase of the car. The car was mostly used as our main family car around town and occasional longer trips to visit our daughter at college a few hundred miles away. As stated, the car is not perfect, but it is very reliable, well maintained and runs perfectly. The engine and transmission are smooth and the car has surprising quickness and handeling for it's size. The ride is smooth and quiet, the back seating area is cavernous and everything in the car works well. It's a great car in good condition, fun to drive, good luck bidding.
